Sports betting means staking money on the outcome of a real match, at a price that fixes your return before the event starts. A ₱100 bet at decimal odds of 1.90 returns ₱190 if it wins, ₱90 of it profit. How sports betting works: four parts of every bet
- Selection: what you back, such as a team to win, a fighter by knockout or a total over a line.
- Odds: the price, shown in decimal, Hong Kong or Malay format; decimal includes your stake.
- Stake: the amount you risk, fixed on the slip before you confirm.
- Settlement: after the event the book grades the bet as won, lost, void or half-won on split lines, and pays by its rules.
Every price carries a margin. Two sides of an even match both priced at 1.90 imply 105.3 percent in total, and that extra 5.3 percent is the bookmaker’s share.
Sportsbook basics: the BTI tile behind the Sports tab
A sportsbook is the department that prices events and takes bets. BTI supplies the one in this lobby, and its tile does not open logged out, so markets and limits only appear after you sign in. The lobby’s logged-out game list still names 92 BTI entries, which shows the range.

Curator’s note: the virtual entries are simulations decided by software, not real matches, so treat them like a casino game rather than a sports bet.
Sports betting Philippines: the legal frame
Each game offering PAGCOR regulates carries a licence of its own, Sports Betting included, and its online operations are tied to a licensed venue. The minimum age is 21, the same as every other form of gaming PAGCOR regulates.

PAGCOR’s 29 October 2026 edition of the brands-and-domains list has no MERRYPH line, so run the first two checks yourself before funding any sportsbook. No cockfight market appears in the BTI list either.
